Interiors

Every so often I get a chance to do book interior illustrations. I love doing them. True, from a money standpoint they are not all that profitable, but there is something about a B&W small spot piece of artwork that is so enjoyable. Today, I'm working away on 6 interiors for the new Janitors book by Tyler Whitesides, but I've attached some here that I recently did for The Land of Stories. Hope you like them!

Later!

So cool! I love black and white drawings. Somehow they portray much more to me. Not so busy with color I guess.

I love these! It is really cool to see finished black and white artwork.

There's definitely something special about a simple, little black and white vignette and these are beautiful. It looks like you did them digitally and then applied a texture over them to simulate paper. Am I right about that or were there some real world materials involved as well?

Book interiors. Definitely should do more of those. I keep opening your covers to see more... :)
